Smooth and almost air-brushed in his looks, Zayn Malik is a member of X Factor finalists One Direction.

Growing up in Bradford, Zayn attended Tong High School, during which time he auditioned for the seventh series of The X Factor in 2010. His audition was not broadcast initially on the show but was shown after the series ended on companion show The Xtra Factor.

At the show’s bootcamp stage Zayn teamed up with the other current members of One Direction, Harry Styles from Cheshire, Liam Payne from Wolverhampton, Niall Horan from Mullingar in Ireland and Louis Tomlinson from Doncaster.

The group have now secured mega-stardom and are going from strength to strength in the music world.

They have extremely passionate fans throughout the UK and beyond, and we are sure that there is still a lot more to come from Zayn and the boys.
